Lamp Types

Original Lamps
These lamps come from the projector manufacturer and are sold via its authorised channel in each particular worldwide territory. Original lamps are subject to stringent tests before they receive the official seal of approval from the projector manufacturer.

Compatible Lamps
These lamps have recently been marketed as ‘genuine’ because the bulb element comes from an original bulb manufacturer. However, this bulb is often used with third party housing to create the complete lamp assembly. This type of lamp is not supplied, tested or approved by the projector manufacturer and there is a distinct possibility that these lamps could invalidate a projector warranty.
